Biography
Mrs. Silvia Elguea
Born and raised in Mexico City. Graduated from UNAM with Bachelor´s and Master´s degrees in Philosophy. Awarded a Masters Degree in Spanish Teaching from Texas State University. She has studied and taught in the USA and has lectured in the UK, New Zealand, and Spain. She was Full Professor at Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana in Mexico. Her publications include dozens of journal articles and book chapters and editing a book on feminism and literature. Today she works for non-governmental organizations in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico.
