Programs
The Academy runs three sets of courses and a lecture series as follows:
1.0 Core Interfaith Programs with 40 hour courses
2.0 Focused Studies with 10 hour courses
3.0 Skill Development Programs with 40 hour courses
4.0 Lectures
1.0 Core Interfaith Programs
These programs normally run for two semesters and consist of two courses with each being 40 contact hours with the instructor. Together, they add up to eight courses. If a person is interested in becoming an Interfaith Minister, these four programs are essential. For individuals with practical experience in religious studies, the Academy offer these programs and courses on an executive and intensive basis. The four courses are:

- 1.2 Advanced Interfaith Studies
- 1.3 Knowledge Significant to Religion
- 1.4 Practical Knowledge for Religion
2.0 Short Focused Studies
These are mostly courses that run for ten hours. They are for people interested in focusing their learning on particular topics and are as follows:
- 2.1 Atheism
- 2.2 History Surrounding the Beginning of the Common Era
- 2.3 Gnostic Beliefs
- 2.4 Scholarly Treatment of Christianity
- 2.5 Introduction to Spiritual Wisdom
- 2.6 Jewish Faith and Traditions
- 2.7 Music in the Interfaith Life (Breath and Spirit)
- 2.8 Meditation and Oneness Lived
- 2.9 Kabbalah
- 2.10 The Law and Religion
- 2.11 Religion, Spirituality, and Humanism
- 2.12 Myth and the Image of God
- 2.13 Reconciling Religion and Science
- 2.14 The Roles of Religion in Modern Society
3.0 Skill and Organization Development Programs
These programs and courses (40 contract hours per course) run for one or two semesters. They are for people interested in developing specific skills that can help them better serve humanity.
3.1 Nonprofit Management and Church Administration

- 3.1.2 Personnel and Leadership for Nonprofit Organizations
- 3.1.3 Budgeting and Financial Management for Nonprofit Organizations
- 3.1.4 Foundations of Organization Theory for Nonprofits
- 3.1.5 Grant Writing, Fund Raising, and Becoming a Nonprofit
- 3.1.6 Ethics for Nonprofit Organizations
- 3.1.7 The Law and Nonprofit Organizations
3.2 Counseling
- 3.2.1 Spiritual Counseling and Development
4.0 Lectures, Talks, and Sermons
The Academy offers free lectures, discussions, and sermons in San Miguel de Allende on cutting edge Interfaith topics. These lectures and discussions will be announced on this web site and the local newspaper. The past lectures, talks, and sermons are posted in written format on this web site.
The Academy offers a regular free two hour talk/discussion at 2 to 4 PM on Sunday starting September 6, 2009. The venue is the Empowerment Center at Privada de la Aurora 5, in San Miguel de Allende, GTO, Mexico. All are welcome.
